Allu Arjun’s recent theatrical outing, Pushpa: The Rise turned out to be a surprisingly hit in the Hindi circuit. The film’s blockbuster success has given wings to Allu Arjun’s fans and they have started calling out Prabhas’s fans now.
Allu Arjun‘s fans are citing Pushpa’s wide reach (cricketers and film celebs doing Pushpa mannerisms) and saying the Allu hero is a bigger pan-India superstar than Prabhas.
But it isn’t the best of ideas to belittle Prabhas now. He could register excellent revenues in the Hindi circuit with a disaster like Saaho. This film’s Hindi collections are bigger than that of Pushpa’s.
At the same time, Pushpa is Allu Arjun’s only hit in the Hindi circuit. We need to wait till Pushpa 2’s release to gauge his box office pull in Hindi circuit.
Even if Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam doesn’t fare well, there is RRR to come. Ram Charan and Jr NTR are set to enthrall pan-India audience with the Rajamouli directorial. They will stake their claim at the pan-India market.
So, the prospect of being the biggest pan-India superstar is not a straightforward one for Allu Arjun. His fans should stop feeling insecure about the same and go easy on the pan-India superstar claims.
