Music director AR Rahman has some time ago expressed his wish to produce a film. It will be a bilingual made in Hindi and Tamil and the story would be penned by the composer himself. While all this was known earlier the latest reports suggest a movement forward for this project. Reportedly, the composer is looking at few names to direct his debut production, which is expected to be a grand affair.
The two prominent names doing the rounds to direct Rahman’s debut production are AR Murugadoss and Prabhu Deva. Sources say that Rahman feels with these two directors the project has chances of getting positive reception in Hindi and South Indian versions as well as these two have a caught the pulse of masses across the board. Among the two it looks like Prabhu Deva could bag the project as he would be relieved with his work soon compared to Murugadoss who is yet to begin his next with Vijay in Tamil. There could be a surprise third choice as well if the two fail to materialize, let see who eventually gets to direct this Rahman assembled venture.
