Five States Shut Down Theaters Due to Coronavirus ScareCoronavirus Pandemic has brought the entire film industry on its knees. The shootings have stopped and the theaters were shut bringing life to a standstill. The worst part is that there is no clarity when the normalcy restored. The shootings will begin first and theaters opening will be last in the list.

Even after the theaters open, there is no clarity if the audience will come to the theaters braving the contagious virus. “During the initial days, we may have to gauge the mood of the Public with dubbing films which will carry bare-minimum risk,” Trade Experts say.

But then, the question is if dubbing films can really prompt the audience to take the risk. Dubbing films barely bring the audience to the theaters in the normal days. “We have no option, everyone in the industry – small to big will want to let the phase pass and release their films once everything settles,” they say.

If at all, the theaters open in July, the makers of Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab may release their film on August 14th as Independence Day Special. If that is missed, the biggies may wait until Dussehra. 2020 is going to be easily the worst year for Tollywood in many decades.
