Rajamouli-PrabhasThere’s always one major advantage, and rightly so, that heroes have over any technician who works on the film and that is the visual optic. How ever good the film might be, the hero is the one who gets the most attention as they are the face of the film.

Coming to the topic, there has been an argument from Prabhas’s anti-fans that he got a lottery ticket for pan-India fame and attention with Baahubali while Rajamouli put up all the hard work.

Now, Prabhas’s fans are sharing a video bite from an interview of a Mumbai based media house chief, who reportedly worked on RRR. In the interview, the said individual says “Rajamouli too is famous in North only with Baahubali. In the tier 2 Hindi towns, who knows Ram Charan and NTR? RRR was publicized as the film from the director of Baahubali”.

Prabhas’s fans are using this to argue that how much ever hard work and finesse Rajamouli might have incorporated into Baahubali, but Prabhas is the face of the film and his stellar presence is the reason why it tapped into deeper Hindi pockets.

They are using this to disregard the lottery argument. In accordance, a few North cine followers are saying they too were captivated towards Baahubali due to Prabhas.

But the thing to be noted here is that any director is only restricted to media meets and promotional events. It is the actor who will get to be the face of the film and in turn get all the attention.

It’s not right to belittle anyone. Like for instance, Titanic and Avatar are global blockbusters and not everyone knows or acknowledges James Cameron’s work for the film.

So let the better sense prevail and everyone should start apprecaiting the collective effort rather than claiming individual credit.
