Balakrishna’s comments are not in a good taste but the issue has blown out into a Tamil Vs Telugu issue except for the fact that Telugu fans are divided into movie, party, and caste lines. Tamil fans have owned ARR big time and are trolling Balakrishna big time with memes and crass comments.
Meanwhile, Balakrishna fans are answering the #WhoIsBalakrishna in style. They have been trending #LegendaryNandamuriBalakrishna nationally with Balakrishna’s achievements in films, politics, and social services like Cancer hospital. They are majorly pushing a video in which Tamil Star Suriya is in all praise for Balayya.
While neither Balakrishna’s statement nor the response of Tamil fans is in good taste, the way our own fans are divided and taking the side of Tamil fans in degrading our own hero definitely does not appear good. It does not speak well about the Telugu film industry and fans here.
