The 90s kids are very familiar with Lakshmi Ganapathi films Banner which used to be a name for dubbing films in those days. The Base voice of a Lady saying ‘Lakshmi Ganapathi film’ before the trailer of every film will still ring in the ears of kids of those times.
But then, the banner and its owner Subrahmaniam have disappeared for a long time. The production house last produced Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan in Telugu and lost huge money on the film.
Filmnagar sources say Subrahmaniam almost became bankrupt with that film. We looked for him and found out he is completely out of the business and also the country. Subrahmaniam moved out of India and settled in Sri Lanka after that.
He is reportedly working in a casino making good money. He is reportedly comfortable with the life there and would not want to come back.
