Tapsee’s career may not be going great guns in Telugu, but with a hit such as Chashme Baddoor, she has started to get noticed in Bollywood. With CB, her career in Bollywood has just begun to take shape. She was recently roped in by filmmaker Shoojit Sircar for his next production venture titled ‘Running Shaadi.com’. Although Sircar was very apprehensive about Tapsee, but the young actress has proved him wrong.
Sircar had made assumptions without meeting Pannu about her capabilities as an actor. He said he was initially doubtful about her but when he met her recently, all his doubts were cleared. He realized that she is perfect for the role she has been roped in for and is confident that she will do a good job. The film is about a website that helps people elope and get married.
Shoojit realized she would be apt because she is a Punjabi and she essays a similar role in the film. He added that since she speaks fluent Punjabi, and that has actually helped in her own favour. The ‘Madras Cafe’ also feels that she is extremely good looking and makes a good pair with the lead hero in the film.
