When I Heard the Srivalli Story, I Didn't Like It - Rajamouli“Initially, when Dad told me Srivalli’s story, I didn’t like it. The story was good but the development wasn’t so great,” said Rajamouli to his writer father Vijayendra Prasad. But, Vijayendra Prasad believed the story and went on with the project after making some changes.

The writer turned filmmaker believed in the story and hence went ahead. When Rajamouli heard the story again, he felt that the story and the narration are very gripping and it needs exceptional directorial skills to execute it. These were the thoughts shared by Rajamouli during the audio launch event of ‘Srivalli’.

He wished all the best for his father as a director and said that as a son he would feel proud of his father if this film comes out really well. He would also like to be critical of his father’s work as a director as his father also has this habit of being critical of his work with keen details of every frame.

Well, that is a doting son’s speech on his successful father who gave two blockbuster stories for the Indian film industry in the form of ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’.
