When Are Tollywood Sankranthi 2020 Movies Releasing - Check Out Trade Speculation Now that the movies for Sankranthi 2020 are locked, things have moved to the next stage among the production houses. They are looking at the right release dates for the respective movies and avoiding ‘date to date’ clash at the same time.

So, first, let us look at the movies arriving for Sankranthi next year. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru is the first one to make a festival release announcement officially. It is a co-production between Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments and Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateshwara Films. The present release date speculated is January 12th. It is the best time to arrive as the immediate next seven days would be holidays.

The second biggie from Telugu is Allu Arjun’s next with Trivikram Srinivas. The yet-untitled film is a co-production between Sithara Entertainments and Geetha Arts. The unit is looking at arriving in cinemas on January 10th. It would have to deal with the pre-festival dullness, but as it is a weekend, the effect can be negated a bit.

What is an important point to note here is that a powerful distribution network backs both the movies. It gives the two big films opportunity to make a killing provided they get favourable talk.

However, the first one to make an official announcement regarding the Sankranthi arrival was team Darbar. AR Murugadoss directs the Superstar Rajinikanth starrer. It is expected to arrive on January 9th. Another dominant distributor who is missing in the above scenarios could back this provided the rates are reasonable. It means there is a chance to avoid a Petta like scenario for Telugu dubbing.

And finally, the two small movies Sreekaram (confirmed) starring Sharwanand and Prati Roju Pandage (not yet confirmed) are slated to arrive on January 15th for the festival. Then, there is the Nandamuri Balakrishna movie which might come into picture in the eleventh hour and take on anyone.

These are the present speculation in trade regarding the release dates of the biggies for Sankranthi 2020. None of them has officially made an announcement, so far.
