Recently Ram Charan shelved his next film to be directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri. It is being reported that he and Chiranjeevi were not satisfied with the full script written by Gowtam at the last minute, and hence the project was called off.
Now there are many reports in the media that Ram Charan has okayed a film with Kannada director Narthan. Narthan, to date, has directed only one Kannada movie, Mufti starring Shiv Rajkumar. The film was a huge blockbuster.
Narthan was also committed to directing Yash’s next after KGF 2. But there has been no announcement regarding that. Kannada fans are disappointed that talented Kannada filmmakers are moving to Tollywood instead of making films in Kannada. First, it was Prashant Neel and now Narthan.
Ram Charan is making sure to maintain the tempo given by RRR and doing films that will match or exceed RRR. His next film with Shankar is keenly awaited. But mega fans on social media are not sure about this project with Narthan.
It will be interesting to see how things with pan out for Charan’s next!
