MS-Dhoni-Maxx-mobilesTeam India captain MS Dhoni and Maxx Mobilink had been in an endorsement agreement in which the cricketer endorsed for the mobile phones of the company with his name MSD 7. The agreement between the two parties came to an end in 2012 but Dhoni made allegations that Maxx Mobilink failed to pay his dues worth Rs.10 crores as endorsement fees.

When Dhoni approached Delhi High Court on the same, the court ordered the mobile company to refrain from the sales of any products using to the star cricketer’s name. But in a fresh comtempt plea, Dhoni alleges that the company has been using his name selling its products on his name. Dhoni’s council argued on contempt plea.

In this regard, the court issued a contempt of court notice to Maxx Monilink Pvt Ltd. and ordered the company to file its response on the notice. This is seen as the violation of court’s order.
