Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’ has got a message which percolated in an affective way. Adopting our native village struck right chord with the audiences. Speaking on this, senior actor Naresh says he has done it 10 years ago.
He had adopted not a village but a district and got 18,000 membership to work for doing various activities. He even talked about how he had been on top positions in BJP acting as State secretary, vice president etc.
But he left the party because he didn’t have any vested interests to earn money. He is already a crorepathi and hence doesn’t need money. He gave his full energy but they didn’t respond. So he had to leave the party and come back to films said Naresh.
