The ‘Ala Modalaindi’ director B.V Nandini Reddy is nowhere to be seen for a a very long time now. The last we heard that she was busy scripting her next project and that she was on the verge of completing it and looking for a producer. Its been nearly 10 months since her second film Jabardasth released and the young filmmaker is nowhere to be seen.
There were rumours that her next project was the remake of Bollywood blockbuster Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani, but she was quick to clear the air that all that was baseless rumours. She even said that since Jabardasth was compared to Band Baja Baarath, she said that people have started to assume that her next will also be a remake.
Nandini confirmed that her next film is a romantic entertainer but is based on her own script. She also said that she has no intentions to remake any film, and if at all she is impressed with any film then she will seek the remake rights before even thinking of making it.
Let’s hope we hear from this young filmmaker soon. She is one of the few filmmakers who gave a very successful directorial debut.
