“Dhamki is a script that I loved and bought from Prasanna Kumar. I wrote the screenplay for over 5 months. I’ve watched the final copy and am super happy with how it shaped up” Vishwak said.
About the issues with directors, Vishwak said “I don’t intentionally irk anyone.but it somehow happens. About this film, it was initially supposed to be directed by Paagal director Naresh. But we saw the film in different perceptions, and hence my decision to take over and direct the project” Vishwak said.
About Jr NTR, Vishwak said “I went over to NTR anna’s house once for dinner and he promised to attend my film event. I didn’t even follow up later as he suffered a loss to family, but he remembered his word and stood by it. I’m excited about his presence at our event as this will be his first appearance after Oscars”.
Das Ka Dhamki is set for release on the 22nd this month and Vishwak is pinning a lot of hopes on the film. He says the film is a different commercial package and it will offer a refreshing experience to the audience.
