Recently, it was announced that Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh would together star in a new film which is the remake of Hindi movie Oh My God. This has caused the audience to speculate about the fate of Kalyan’s highly anticipated film Gabbar Singh 2. The film was originally meant to begin its shooting in January but was later postponed. This, along with the news for the new film has caused the rumours that the movie has now been shelved.

However, sources close to the actor have refuted all such rumours and said that the film has not been shelved. The delay in starting the film is due to the script work not being completed yet. “Gabbar Singh 2” is not following the story of the Hindi sequel and will have a completely new script. It is however expected that the shooting of Gabbar Singh 2 will begin from April but there is a good chance muhurat will happen before end of this month. Let’s wait and see if it happens.
