New Year is a time celebrities like to unwind with family and friends. They usually travel abroad because they can’t peacefully roam around in the country as they will easy get spotted by fans. With the New Year just around the corner, here’s what some southern celebrities are planning to do.
Amala Paul is currently holiday in Italy with her family. “In the city of Love, Paris, with family,” she posted on her Twitter page on the eve of Christmas. Amala will also celebrate the New Year in Paris and has plans to visit the Vatican.
Ajith Kumar: Superstar Ajith Kumar, who has finished shooting for Veeram, has left to Australia with his family. He left few days back and is expected return a day or two before the release of his film.
Dhanya Balakrishnan: The ‘Second Hand’ heroine will go back to home to her family in Bangalore. She is looking forward to spending with her parents and eating homemade food.
Esther Noronha: The ‘1000 Abbadalu’ girl will go to Mangalore to meet her family. She recently finished shooting for Bheemavaram Bullodu, which was finished on a tight schedule. Since she badly wanted a break, she has decided to go home and spend the New Year with her family.
Hansika Motwani: The 22-year old actress is in New York with her close friends. “New York is a dichotomy of a city. All the hustle, bustle and yet an underlying layer of loneliness,” she posted Friday on her Twitter page. She is expected to join the shooting for Ravi Teja film soon after her trip.
Karthi Sivakumar: Karthi will fly to Canada to support his friend southern composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, who will perform there on the eve of New Year. “I would cheer for Yuvan at his concert in Canada this New Year. I’m sure I’ll have great fun watching him perform,” Karthi had said earlier.
Lakshmi Manchu left to the US few days back to spend some quality time with her husband and ring in the New Year. She plans spend a week or two with him before she can return and continue with her new film.
Nani:Having released the audio of his upcoming Telugu release ‘Janda Pai Kapiraju’, actor Nani has left to the US with his wife to spend time with his sister, who has been asking him to come for several years. He also plans to spend Sankranti there.
Samantha and Suriya will be busy shooting for their Tamil film during New Year. Since the film was started around November, the director doesn’t want to waste any time on breaks. The team, however, will celebrate the beginning of the year on sets with a cake.
Sunil Varma may visit his hometown if he finds time. He was recently in Bheemavaram for the audio launch of ‘Bheemavaram Bullodu’ and he plans to visit again during New Year or at least during Sankranti.
