The pre-release event of Romantic was held at Warangal, a sentimental place for director Puri Jagannadh. His last blockbuster Ismart Shankar’s function was held here. However, more than Romantic it was Liger that stole the show.
The event was going on predictable lines until Akash Puri came out with an emotional speech. He promised his dad that there is no looking back. No matter how long it takes there will be a time that you (Puri Jagannadh) will rise your collar with pride assured Akash Puri.
However, when the special guest of the event Vijay Deverakonda came on stage, it all became about Liger.
Vijay Deverakonda assured the hungry fans that Liger will make a sensation. He said that the movie will shake at the pan-India level. Not only that, but VD also confirmed that Liger will be arriving in 2022. He also wished the romantic team all the best for its grand release.
Puri Jagannadh continued the sentiment of his son but in an understated manner. He said that he can vouch that Akash is an actor and Romantic will prove it. He thanked the Warangal audience (where the event is held), and promised to come again.
Anil Paduri directs Romantic. Ketika Sharma is the heroine opposite Akash Puri. Ramya Krishna plays a vital role in the film. Sunil Kashyap provides the music. Romantic will hit screens all over on October 29th.
