Director Selvaraghavan, Dhanush’s brother, who is known for Telugu film Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule, is awaiting the release of his much anticipated films Varna, which has been on floors for over two years.
Speaking at the audio launch today, he said the industry needs more supportive producers such as PVP. The industry should also support creative films in different genres and not just fund only comedy flicks regularly.
He feels saddened that many aspiring filmmakers don’t get a break because most producers are only willing to produce comedy films over other genre of films. He wishes that this mentality in the industry changes and more creative films are welcomed
