The film industry has been abuzz recently with the news of Anjali’s involvement in a controversy in the Tamil industry. In this regard, director Kalanjiyam has complaint with the Director’s union and has requested to ban all the films that Anjali is a part of.
The issue arose when Anjali felt a big threat from her step-mother and accused her of taking advantage of her career and her hard work along with Kalanjiyam. She then quit Tamil films for a while and shifted to Hyderabad. Now that one of Anjali’s Tamil films is gearing up for a release, Kalanjiyam has decided to put in a complaint against Anjali to get her complete his film before releasing any of her other films.
However, the Director’s union has made it clear that they haven’t banned any one so far. Nevertheless, they will be calling in Anjali this week to find out why she quit Kalanjiyam’s film half way and whether or not she intends to join his shoot to complete the rest of her part in the movie.
Anjali is firm on not entertaining the Tamil director Kalanjiyam. She insists that she did not commit any mistake and therefore no one could stop her films. On the flip side, the director’s union may ask her to shoot her portion of the film. As for the outcome of this controversy, we will just have to wait and watch!
