The title teaser of Chiranjeevi’s next with Bobby has been unveiled today and it confirms that the film has indeed been titled Waltair Veerayya, confirming the several speculations on the title.
The teaser establishes Chiru’s rugged mass characterisation. He carries a fisherman-esque vibe in terms of attire and body language. The beedi adds to the same.
It is kind of refreshing to see Chiru in a new look. He has slimmed down a fair bit. His makeover is going to be the quintessential trait of Waltair Veerayya.
Mega Fans are expecting DSP to return to his Prime form to do justice for such mass content.
But from what we can see, Waltair Veerayya is a commercial potboiler, a genre better suited for the Sankranthi release slot.
The film is directed by Bobby and it has Ravi Teja in other important role. Mythri Movie Makers are funding the project and more promotional material will be out in the days to follow.
“Happy Diwali…. Thondarlo kaluddam” Ravi Teja says towards the end of the teaser.
Chiru hasn’t done a role like this one after the comeback and this should be a new experience for his fans on big screens.
