On the occasion of Diwali, the title of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next film Mega154 was announced. It has been titled Waltair Veerayya and fans are happy that Chiru is coming up with an original film.
The teaser received a decent response from the fans and the normal audience but there has been a unanimously negative response to Devi Sri Prasad’s background score.
Fans are saying that they never expected DSP would disappoint them with such vanilla and generic BGM. Many are saying that there is no novelty in the music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Some are also complaining that the background score is a mix of many other BGMs like the one heard in Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe.
Some of the mega fans were seen trying to do some damage control. They were saying that fans shouldn’t react so hastily. This is just a teaser that was scored in a stipulated time period. DSP will definitely score a thumping background score in the film.
These days BGM has become a huge factor in the success or failure of a film. BGM can take films to new heights like Akhanda and Vikram or they can ruin them completely like in Acharya and sarkaru Vaari Paata.
A lot is riding on Waltair Veerayya and there is immense pressure on Devi Sri Prasad to come up with a background score that will dazzle the audience in the theaters
