Kamal Haasan’s Viswaroopam is all set to hit screens on January 25th. Kamal’s radical thought of screening Viswaroopam premiere on TV a day before it hits theaters did not work out. Theater associations went on to threatening Kamal banning his future movies if this happens. At one point Kamal decided to face it and he even filed a complaint with ADGP (Law & Order) when few of the theater owners who supported his idea got threatening calls about loosing power if any theater would like to screen his film.
Kamal had finally decided to put an end to his idea and have a normal release just like any other movie releases. Good part of the whole episode is he does not have any competition as Viswaroopam is the only big film releasing during that week. First time in Kamal’s career Viswaroopam is going have a massive release in Tamilnadu itself with 500+ screens. Let’s hope that movie will do well and makes his fans happy.
