Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal‘s FIR is all set for a theatrical release on February 11th. It will be a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil languages. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is presenting the Telugu Version while Abhishek Nama is releasing the movie in AP and Telangana.
FIR is the story of how a Muslim lad is framed illegally as a terrorist and how he revolts against the system. Manu Anand, an associate of Gautam Menon is making his debut with this movie. The trailer released recently looked promising. Meanwhile. Amazon Prime Video bagged the Post-theatrical OTT rights of the movie.
Usually, Amazon streams films four weeks after the theatrical release. So, we may see FIR on Amazon Prime Video on March 4th. This is the tentative OTT release date of FIR. In theaters, FIR may have to face Ravi Teja’s Khiladi. We also have Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s DJ Tillu arriving on February 12th, one day after the release of FIR.
The movie also releases with 50% occupancy in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. In AP, the movie has Night Curfew as well. But being a small and dubbing film, that should not be a problem here.
