After being elected the president of the Producers’ Council, Vishal’s main mission has become to curb piracy and set up a separate team to address this menace. His claims are really bold. In Kollywood, piracy is like a mafia, which is deep-rooted, unlike our Telugu films.
Piracy mafia in Tamil Nadu is in the worst form where we see the pirated sites giving open challenges to upload or release pirated copies of new releases on the opening day and in fact succeeded every time they did so. There is a tough game ahead of Vishal and hope he would live up to the expectations he had created for himself.
