Actor Vishal has been suspended from Tamil Film Producers Council with immediate effect from today. The council has collectively taken this decision after they felt the actor’s response was not satisfactory.
It all started when Vishal spoke in a very candid manner about the producers and producers’ council to a magazine. The TFPC found it to be derogatory towards them. They issued a notice to the actor seeking an explanation for his comments. Vishal in reply sent them a statement which the council reviewed few days and didn’t find satisfactory enough.
Oddly enough, Vishal is General Secretary of Nadigar Sangham in Tamil Nadu. Time and again he has been saying that a group of young producers would be contesting for important posts in the council.
