Actor Vishal has announced that his film Detective (Telugu version of Thupparivaalan) will arrive for Diwali. It is an unexpected entry and makes the Diwali festival crowded.
Thupparivaalan is a success in Tamil, and there is enough curiosity in Telugu as well. However, it has been a long time since Vishal scored a success with Telugu dub. Also, the director of the film Mysskin has poor track record commercially with his dubbed films.
Detective will clash with Mass Maharaja’s Raja The Great and another Tamil biggie Mersal dubbed into Telugu as Adirindi. While Raja The Great is a sure winner, it will be interesting to see which among Adirindi and Detective will get better openings and long run.
