Virata Parvam TrailerThe much-awaited trailer of Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi starrer Virata Parvam has just been released on social media.

According to the trailer, the story is inspired by true events from the 90s and narrates an intense love story against the backdrop of the Telangana Naxalite movement. Rana Daggubati plays the role of Comrade Ravanna, known by his pen name Aranya, while Sai Pallavi will be seen as Vennela, who is smitten by his writing.

Though the film has a plethora of actors, the story seems to be focused on Sai Pallav, and as expected, she steals the show. She is present in the trailer from the first shot to the last. There are many intense moments in the film highlighted by thumping BGM. Technically the film looks to be good, but the dark overtones might keep the family audience away.

The Naxalite story has been done to death in Tollywood, and recently even Acharya failed badly. But Venu Udugula’s writing and Sai Pallavi’s presence keep the hopes alive.

Suresh Babu presents this gritty love story, while Sudhakar Cherukuri of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas is producing it. Virata Parvam has seen several delays due to the pandemic and other reasons and is now scheduled to release on June 17.
