Velaiyilla Pattathari (VIP) is a Tamil film starring Dhanush that released few months ago in Tamil. It was a massive success and many expected it to be dubbed in Telugu as well. But it wasn’t the case as many in the industry thought it would be a wasted opportunity if the movie is dubbed in Telugu as the Tamil star has no market in Telugu, more so, when the film had potential to be a big success if remade.
With that in mind over the past few months various stars from Telugu cinema have been approached for the remake. One might even remember the name of Allu Arjun too attached to this remake at one point. But now it looks like we have a clear answer to the question. It is none other than Ram who will be doing VIP remake in Telugu. The actor has been struggling to get a right success from a long time and it seems that he wants to try another tried and tested but fresh mass film to achieve it. An official confirmation regarding the same is awaited though.
