Vinayak lauds Sarath Kumar in ‘Traffic’

Tamil film ‘Chennaiyil Oru Naal’ is being dubbed in Telugu as ‘Traffic’ and will be released on Feb 14 across Andhra Pradesh. Apparently, filmmaker V.V Vinayak, who had watched the Tamil version recently, called up Tamil actor Sarath Kumar and congratulated him for his role in the film.

Vinayak said that it’s a very important film and everybody needs to watch it as it teaches the value of life. He personally appreciated Sarath Kumar’s performance in the film and added that he has set an example for all actors in southern film industry. The film was one of the biggest multi-starrers in Tamil filmdom in recent times. Originally made in Malayalam as ‘Traffic’, the film was inspired by a real incident that happened few years ago.

The story revolves around the transportation of a donated heart to an ailing patient within 90 minutes. The entire film is set on road and traffic plays an important in the film. It is currently being remade in Hindi as traffic with Manoj Bajpayee and many others in the lead.
