Director V.V.Vinayak’s name was one of them names which is considered for megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150 movie besides Puri Jagannadh. Though nothing was said officially, it seemed that he is almost confirmed for the prestigious project. But post the debacle of ‘Akhil’, one can easily assume that the cards wouldn’t be in favor of Vinayak.
When asked about Chiranjeevi’s film, Vinayak said that it’sthe megastar has to take the decision. His voice and attitude clearly indicates that Vinayak is presently at the mercy of the megastar regarding the decision. Here the one way attitude can be clearly understood and leaves us wondering if films can work this way.
If at all ‘Akhil’ had become a super hit, things would have been different and would have been in favour of Vinayak. There would have been a sense of confidence in Vinayak’s tone regarding Chiranjeevi’s decision. So it’s crystal clear to understand that the ball is in Chiru’s court currently and the director at the mercy of the megastar.
