Ram Charan’s first outing with the typical mass director Boyapati Sreenu is out in the theatres and a mixed talk has been pouring in for the film from the opening shows. It is really shocking for the trade to see that so far, the movie has collected a total of $180 K from the the premiers.
For comparison sake, even Allu Arjun’s last movie ‘Naa Peru Surya’ that was a disaster collected $378 K from its premieres. Ram Charan’s last outing ‘Rangasthalam’, was a milestone film for the actor and it holds the non-Baahubali record in the US with $3.5 million. The premiere numbers of ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama‘ are shockingly low. No one is naive to the fact that Boyapati Sreenu has a very limited market in the overseas but what we are witnessing in a big shock.
Here, the biggest fear is the breakeven number for the movie in the US. It has to collect $1.8 million to keep the buyers in the safe zone. With the mixed talk not so promising from the early shows, the break even number seems to be humungous.
