Chiyaan Vikram’s Tamil movie ‘Kadaram Kondan’ will be released on 19th July and the Telugu dubbing version ‘Mr KK’ of the same will have a simultaneous release in the Telugu States.
This movie is the remake of a French action thriller titled ‘Point Blank’. The Hollywood remake of this movie was also titled the same. This Hollywood remake will start streaming on Netflix from 12th July onwards.
That means, audiences would be watching the Hollywood remake of ‘Mr KK’ just a week before its release in Tamil Nadu and the Telugu States. Two remakes of the same film releasing with a very little gap.
This is a ironical situation for the Tamil remake because the Hollywood remake of ‘Point Blank’ has nothing to lose. This movie has Akshara Haasan playing the female lead and her dad Kamal Haasan has bankrolled the movie under his Raaj Kamal Films International.
