Tamil Nadu Theater Owners and Multiple Association President, Tiruppur Subramanian has come before the media and thanked Thalapathy Vijay and the Master team for not releasing the film on OTT despite having the finished the product on hand for nearly ten months.
During the Pressmeet, he also confirmed that the movie will release on January 13th as Bhogi Special. The movie will have a simultaneous release in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil on the same day. Buzz is that most of the theaters of Tamil Nadu will release the film and it is expected to get a humongous release.
The movie is also expected to get a big release in Telugu as well. The makers are going to make an announcement about the film’s trailer release this evening. The official announcement of the release date may happen with the trailer. The exhibitors are now trying to convince the Government to allow 100% occupancy for the movie.
It may be unlikely with the worries about a new strain of Coronavirus which is 70% more transmissible. In Telugu, Master will have stiff competition from Ravi Teja’s Krack, Ram’s Red, and Bellamkonda Sreenivas’s Alludu Adhurs.
