In a strange development, the makers of Vijay Deverakonda‘s Liger have decided to delay the Hindi release by a day. The film will not be releasing in Hindi on the 25th of this month.
Liger‘s Hindi version will be releasing on the 26th of this month in the Northern markets. The Telugu release will go as scheduled as the film will be releasing here and overseas on the 25th of August.
This isn’t the brightest of ideas, especially so when the team oozed so much confidence in the promotional events across Northern India. They would’ve been better off releasing the Hindi version the same day as the Telugu one, in order to cash in on the hype. The makers haven’t revealed the reason behind the delayed Hindi release yet.
Liger marks Vijay Deverakonda’s pan-India and it isn’t quite comprehensible why a film of this prominence for him isn’t being given a simultaneous release everywhere.
Either way, Liger is billed to be a madcap action thriller and it is expected to pull the masses to the theaters.
