Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger Having Budget Issue?Vijay Deverakonda is making his mark in Bollywood with his maiden pan-India film, Liger. The actor along with the crew will soon be heading to the US to wrap a quick schedule that involves scenes with the boxing legend Mike Tyson.

Meanwhile, is the film having budget issue? It is rumoured that Liger which has bigwigs from Karan Johar to Puri Jagannadh bankrolling the project is said to be facing financial constraints.

The film’s first look came out in the first half of this year. The shoot happened in Mumbai and Hyderabad and recently the makers shot a peppy dance number in Goa. However, the film got halted due to the pandemic in the first half. Subsequently, the shoot got delayed numerous times.

Apart from this, roping in Mike Tyson as an extended cameo would cost a bomb to the team. And a shoot in foreign land among other factors is said to have made the Liger budget soar. Usually, Puri Jagannadh completes his film in 70-75 days, but for Liger the filmmaker took almost 150 days of filming.

The team dubs Liger as the landmark film in Vijay Deverakonda’s career. And the makers are confident that the film will churn out moolah at the ticket window thus they are not compromising on budget.
