The first promo video of Mahesh Babu’s Sankranthi outing ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ was out and Rashmika Mandanna’s fans were for a surprise that she wasn’t there in it even for a brief period. Rest of the lead characters including Vijayashanthi and Prakash Raj had a dialogue or two, Rashmika wasn’t even seen in the teaser.
Maybe, there would be a special teaser cut for the heroine or maybe not. When she acted with Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika was treated so well as a star heroine. Both Vijay and his team made sure that she felt like a part of the team.
She got the same respect and space for all the promotions of ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’ and she was all over the pre-release activities. Now, it has been totally different when it came to Mahesh Babu‘s movie.
Either her role could be an important one that the makers want to keep secret and build up the hype by and by or she must be just one of those heroines for star heroes who would be there for some romantic sequences and then, for a couple of songs.
Looks like, the makers won’t give her much importance going by what she has got so far. The special teaser that was said to be coming would make things clear about Rashmika’s importance in the story. Let’s wait.
