Perhaps the longest gap a director has got even after delivering a commercially successful film like ‘Maharshi’ with superstar Mahesh Babu must be Vamshi Paidipally. He didn’t sign any films yet and there haven’t been any updates from him, even.
Now, we hear that producer Dil Raju’s project is in the works and guess what? It’s Vijay Deverakoda who might be bailing him out of distress period which gave him a huge gap. However, there is no official confirmation yet and we need to wait for that.
So, what do you think about Vijay Deverakonda‘s combination with Vamshi Paidipally? Vijay is doing a pan-Indian film with Puri Jagannadh and will he sign a movie with Paidipally at this juncture of his career? Having said that, if the script is good enough, why not?
Coming to the director’s ‘Maharshi’, the movie brought him both happiness and made him a victim of trolling. The movie bagged two National Awards that the government has announced recently for the Best Popular Film for Providing Wholesome Entertainment and for the Best Choreography for Raju Sundaram.
Though Mahesh Babu’s fans were after him for the way the film panned out dealing with the core concept of agriculture, the two National Awards might keep the trolling at bay. Hopefully, the director has something new on his plate to divert the attention from trolling to another new project, probably with Vijay Deverakonda.
