Not so long ago, Mahesh Babu ventured into exhibition industry with AMB cinemas. He partnered with Asian Cinemas for this luxurious multiplex project, which turned out to be a smashing success. Now, Vijay Deverakonda is treading a similar territory.
Vijay Deverakonda has announced that he is collaborating with Asian Cinemas and launching AVD (Asian Vijay Deverakonda) Cinemas, a luxurious multiplex. Vijay said that AVD is his ‘first’ multiplex project. He seems to be planning to set up multiple AVD multiplexes in the days to come. Well, it appears to be that Vijay has big plans in the theatrical business.
AVD Cinemas is a lavishly decorated multiplex set up in Mahbubnagar and it will commence operations on the 24th of this month. Love Story will be the first film to be screened here.
Vijay shared that he is elated with the new prospect and says it is one of the major developments in his life. “I feel glad that I am launching this prestigious project in Mahbubnagar, the native place of my parents. Also, I started my career with Sekhar Kammula Garu(he acted in Life Is Beautiful) and now, the latter’s film is set to be screened in my multiplex.”
Vijay Deverakonda is currently shooting for Liger in Goa. The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh and it has Ananya Panday in the lead role.
