After what seemed like a long silence from Vijay Deverakonda after the corona scare set in across the country, Deverakonda tweeted for the first time about wearing masks.
He advised his followers to leave the medical masks to the doctors and instead use our handkerchiefs, scarves or else our mothers’ chunnies for covering our face. According to him, cloth covering will help slow down the spread of the disease.
It also seems to be intended to tell people about the shortage of medical masks and hence, the need to spare them for doctors who have been risking lives with corona positively diagnosed patients and their treatment.
It has been a while since Vijay Deverakonda came up with a post on Twitter. Glad that he finally posted something. But, we keep wondering what could have kept him away from not responding all the time when people were confused about his absence.
