“I didn’t take interest in the offers coming from Bollywood,” said Ramya Krishna in a recent interview. Now, don’t jump to conclusions thinking why would Ramya throw away offers from Bollywood after the fame she got after ‘Baahubali’.
She was actually referring to a phase in her career in the 1990s when she did some Bollywood movies and they didn’t do well at the box-office. Obviously, she didn’t get good offers and therefore, she lost interest continuing on Bollywood.
Nevertheless, she always had South films where she had been successful. Recently, ‘Baahubali’ and Shivagami happened to her that gave her career’s biggest blockbuster. Now, she will be back in Bollywood with Deverakonda’s ‘Fighter’ which she thinks would be almost another ‘Baahubali’.
