But, Vijay Devarakonda truly deserves all the adulation for his rock solid performance in ‘Arjun Reddy’. The hero-worship kind of praise from RGV didn’t look overt praise by the virtue of the actor’s credibility.
RGV compared Vijay Devarakonda, the new-age hero with Amitabh Bachchan as someone who can live up to the same intensity as Big B. RGV sees Vijay Devarakonda as the first Mega Star of Telangana State. Besides the praise on Vijay, RGV appreciated the restrained demeanor and intensity of the debutante director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
He said that Sandeep Reddy is the benchmark for both the established and the aspiring directors. ‘Arjun Reddy’ is turning a cult movie for youth and Vijay Devarakonda is certainly promising to become the first ever star hero from Telangana State.
