Though Vidya Balan is no more a girl but a grown-up female, she is the best choice available for the filmmakers who etch performance-oriented female-centric characters and that’s why she is ‘the Balan Girl’ for whom South Indian Filmmakers had been trying to woo her into South films.
Looks like, Balayya is the first person to succeed in the attempts to bring her to South Films. It’s a known thing that Vidya Balan was approached for playing NTR’s wife Basavatarakam, the mother of 13 children. The latest reports have got it that she decided finally to say yes to the role as she felt that it is an interesting and challenging role.
Krish replaced director Teja and the latest development came after Krish was officially announced to direct the biopic on Sr NTR. Krish Jagarlamudi is a known name in Bollywood as the director Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gabbar’ and presently helming Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika’, the biopic of Jhansi Lakshmi Bai.
