Popular actor Chalapathi Rao passed away last night. Chalapathi Rao is very close to NT Ramarao. He acted with all three generations of Nandamuri heroes and is close to Balakrishna and Junior NTR as well.

He made a video call to Chalapathi Rao’s son, Director Ravibabu, and saw his ‘Babai’ for one last time. NTR is seen crying inconsolably seeing Chalapathi Rao for one last time.
While crying, he is seen telling ‘Okkasari Kallutherichi Nannu Choodu Babai’. Everyone is moved by their bonding and NTR’s plight. A small video of that is on social media.
Chalapathi Rao’s mortal remains will be shifted to Maha Prasthanam this afternoon and the final rites will happen on Wednesday when his daughters living abroad come.
