Drushyam 2 telugu set at knajar, IDUKKIThe first part of Drushyam was a major success in the Telugu states when it initially released. After a long fap, the sequel for Drushyam released in Malayalam last year and was an instant success. Following that, the original director, Jeetu Joseph, was brought on board to make Drushyam 2 in Telugu as well.

A video has been released on YouTube, in which we can see the sets that have been erected for the shooting of the second part of Drushyam, in Kerala’s Idukki. Rajavaram Police station can be seen in the video, along with a bus stand, a general store, a sign towards Ramalayam temple, and other minute details pertaining to the village of Rajavaram. It is very clear that utmost care and attention have been given to every detail of the Rajavaram village set, so much so that it looks like a real village. The credits for these realistic sets go to art director Rajeev Nayar.

The shooting for Drushyam 2 started with all the original cast in place on March 5th, and wrapped up on April 20th, meaning that the entire shooting wrapped up in just 47 days. While Venkatesh finished shooting for his part last week, the remaining part was wrapped up this week, marking the end of the shooting.

Drushyam 2 was planned for a theatrical release in the Telugu states, but judging by the current circumstances, it might be possible that the film might opt for a direct OTT release, much like the Malayalam version, which directly released on Amazon Prime earlier this year.
