RamaRao On Duty is a dud at the box office. After a sedate start at the box office, the film tanked at the Telugu box office.
Coming to the point, a senior hero was brought out of retirement and in turn humiliated with RamaRao On Duty and that is noted senior artist Venu.
Venu had been out of action for a while and he made a comeback of sorts with RamaRao On Duty. But sadly for him, the comeback isn’t a sweet or memorable one.
Venu’s police officer character had very little prominence in the film and he could barely make any noise after the film’s release. With the film itself bombing at the box office, no one batted an eye on Venu, let alone him getting fame or attention.
Usually when actors make a comeback after a long time, they hope to regain the love of the audience. But Venu, who featured in RamaRao On Duty is humiliated with a lackluster role.
Before the release, the director Sarat said he tried really hard to make Venu agree to play the character. Now, netizens are commenting that the senior actor should’ve rather stayed away from acting in the film.
