There is a talk in the industry that Venkatesh is adept at choosing remake stories which suit him and hence many of his super hit films are remakes from other languages. His last outing ‘Guru’ also is a remake of Tamil film ‘Irudhi Sutru’.
According to the latest buzz, Venkatesh is all set for another remake from Hindi. This time it is Akshay Kumar’s recent release ‘Jolly LLB’. So, Venkatesh might be donning the hat of Akshay Kumar in the Telugu remake. However, things aren’t finalised yet.
Venky acted in the remake of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Oh My God’ as ‘Gopala Gopala’ earlier and ‘Drishyam’ was also a remake. The remake of ‘Jolly LLB’ is a minimum guarantee film and suits well for Venky’s age. But, we have to agree, in the end, it is a kind of come and go film, nothing special for Venky like ‘Guru’ or ‘Drishyam’.
