Victory Venkatesh’s Drushyam 2 First Look and motion poster were supposed to release today morning. The makers have decided to postpone it to the last minute. Sources tell us that the teaser of the film has been screened at the SIIMA awards event last night.
To pacify the angry fans, the makers have released a small update today saying that the movie’s censor has been completed and it has got a U certificate. They did not mention if the movie will release in theaters or on OTT as in the case of Narappa.
“Drushyam 2 team has a big offer ready from Disney+ Hotstar. But Suresh Babu is yet to sign the dotted line. He wants to see the audience’s response to Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story which will release on the 24th of this month. If the situation is hopeless, Drushyam 2 will opt for OTT release,” a source close to Suresh Productions told us.
Drushyam 2’s original – Drishyam 2 has also skipped its theatrical release and ended up releasing director on Amazon Prime Video. Jeethu Joseph, the director of the original has directed the remake project as well.
