Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya multi-starrer ‘Venky Mama’s has finally got a release date much to the satisfaction of the duo’s fans who were long since waiting to watch the combo on the big screen.
So, Venky‘s next will be the remake of critically acclaimed Tamil movie ‘Asuran’. Actor Dhanush played the title role in the movie and there had been doubts if Venky would be a fit for the role.
Responding to the doubts, Venkatesh reminded that people doubted his ability in the past, even. Interestingly, most of his successful movies were remakes from other languages.
He liked ‘Asuran’ and he said that it took him only half an hour to say yes to the script. Venkatesh also expressed confidence on his director Srikanth Addala who is going to direct the movie.
Remakes have worked for Venky big time in the past, and we are waiting to see how Venky would fit it into the intense role as Asuran.
