Filmmaker Jeethu Joseph’s films have become the go-to after the hit franchise -Drishyam starring Mohanlal. The film was such a rage that it was remade in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi versions. And all the films tasted the same success at the box office.
Venkatesh Daggubati starred in Drushyam. The actor was also the first one to have bought the remake rights of the sequel to come up with Drushyam 2. Venkatesh has now become alert again. Wondering for what? Jeethu Joseph has announced his upcoming film, 12th Man with Mohanlal, a mystery movie again that has upped the excitement further.
The filmmaker has unveiled the logo, which had build the suspense. The title and poster show a person standing outside and gazing at a house whihc has full of people. This is enough to generate curiosity. Well, Venkatesh was quick to grab the remake rights for Drushyam 2. Now, the actor may be interested to grab the remake rights of 12th Man also.
Considering the track record of Jeethu Joseph and also already having been worked with him for Drushyam 2, Daggubati hero may go with the filmmaker for the second time. However, only time will tell. Meanwhile, Venkatesh has wrapped up Drushyam 2 shoot. The film has skipped theatrical release and as opted for OTT release on Disney+Hotstar is rumoured. However, an official confirmation is awaited.
