It was one of his worst rated movies in recent times and yet the star has managed to pull the best at the box office both locally and in overseas. The performance in overseas is special because the impact of critics is more here compared to the two Telugu states.
In overseas Babu Bangaram has become the highest grosser among solo Venkatesh films overcoming Drushyam. The film is now on its way to half million mark which is superb achievement here.
